David has a very wide range of experience and has been practising as a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology since 1987. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as the British Royal and South African Colleges of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He is a member of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society the Australian Society of Uro-gynaecology as well as the International Uro-gynaecology Association.
David has a special interest in advanced laparoscopy such as laparoscopically assisted hysterectomy and pelvic floor reconstruction in the management of utero-vaginal prolapse also, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, pelvic pain, hormonal problems, fibroids, and vulval skin disorders.

He offers pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence care. In cases of urinary incontinence David offers an urodynamic assessment service at his consulting rooms and appropriate medical as well as surgical management, the surgery will involve native tissue repair and if need be David is skilled in the use of augmentation material??
The obstetric practice in-patient service is based at Peninsula Private Hospital with admission rights to The Bays Hospital in Mornington. This allows David to provide a continuum of care for both low and high risk patients. He is happy to provide total and shared care for obstetric patients.
